I’m someone who loves anything artsy, craftsy, vintage-y and involving coffee. And so, today when I had the pleasure of visiting for the first (and definitely not last) time, the Little Barn Gift Shop and Manydown Bus Stop Cafe, I was filled with joy.
A hidden gem in Hampshire, my Mum and I found ourselves driving into the little gravel car park to be greeted by barns, a little farm and some beautiful, classic British countryside surroundings. We chose to ignore the fitness centre and children’s farm and instead focus on the gift shop, farm shop and cafe!
The shop was filled with everything a lover of crafty bits and bobs could ask for. Signs, bunting, things to hang, things to place, things to decorate and things to create. It was so lovely! It even had a little corner dedicated to health oils and foods and I couldn’t help but get myself some coconut oil (strange choice of gift i know but all will become clear in a later blog post I promise!). It had a very sweet, shabby-chic, small gift shop coziness to it, the sort of shop you could just wander round for ages, looking at all the stuff around and about.
Next stop was the Manydown bus cafe, what a great idea! A coffee (and bits of Mum’s scone,) up in the top of a double-decker bus, looking out over the fields and farm makes for a great little memory I know I’ll cherish. It’s all about the people, places and food and a lovely hazelnut latte and lovely company is what it’s all about!
It was a wonderfully British morning out and for sure a place that I’ll be returning to many times…
