Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Sorry it’s been such a long time since my last post, bad Ellie!

Anyway, this week I got to go to London and visit the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

It was my second year visiting the Wonderland and it never fails to put me in a festive mood, the smells of gingerbread, pretzels and mulled wine mixed with the Christmas tunes playing and the lights and decor all around, how can you not feel a bit of Christmas spirit in late November?!

Mulled wine, cinnamon pretzels, snow, Bavarian German market style huts and stalls and ski lodge themed bars; what more could you ask for in this Christmassy pocket of central London?

The highlight is always as the sky grows darker with the approaching night-time and the place really comes alive! The lights twinkle against the dark backdrop and everything feels that little bit more magical…

And where else in the world would you find a Bavarian village pop up tent containing a band singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ in German?

Winter Wonderland is the festive place to be.
