What To Watch This Autumn

Now that the dark evenings are rapidly approaching and it’s too cold to sit in the garden with that evening drink, it’s the perfect time to cosy up and watch some good TV/films. Here are a few recommendations of what I’ve been loving…

Bodyguard (BBC Series) – If you haven’t watched this yet WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? I mean, I can’t talk, I caught up late on iplayer but oh my goodness, this is an incredible, tense and extremely exciting series that I would highly recommend you watching right now before you see any spoilers!!

Maniac (Netflix Series)– Not going to lie, I’m not sure I understood what was going on 100% of the time while watching this but I was intrigued and hooked from the get go. This show is so interesting and something really different, plus I adore Emma Stone and she’s such a joy to watch.

The Great British Bake Off (Channel 4 Series)– So we’re about half way through this years series and I would so recommend catching up and joining in if you can! GBBO is just so cosy, heart warming and mouth watering. It’s easy, joyful viewing for these chilly evenings.

Pls Like (BBC Series/iplayer)- Pls Like is such an underrated series, it’s a mockumentary into the world of vlogging and YouTube and is just hilarious! It’s got very dry humour in places which is right up my street and the cast play these YouTube ‘stars’ to perfection.

A Simple Favour (Cinema)- I saw this film last week and was blown away. It was dark, twisty and funny, everything you could ask for, and with a stellar cast I would recommend catching this film while you can!

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC Series)– Watching Strictly is such a tradition in my house! From September to Christmas it’s classic, feel good, sparkly weekend viewing. It’s such a wonderful program, whether its a guilty pleasure or you’re a loud and proud dance fan, Strictly is such a special show.

I hope this has given you some viewing inspiration, let me know in the comments what you’ve been watching/ will be watching this Autumn!
