Banana Bread Porridge Recipe (Vegan!)

This is my favourite breakfast at the moment on a chilly, autumnal morning. It’s warming, filling, delicious and vegan! Packed with fruit and festive cinnamon, you’re going to want to eat this every morning…

Disclaimer: I’m no chef and I’m not the best at writing instructive recipes as I kind of improvise a lot. Also it’s very difficult to make porridge look pretty in photos but I promise it tastes good!

 

Ingredients
50g Oats
150ml Soya Milk
1 Banana
A Handful of Raisins
1 tsp Cinnamon (or 2 if you love cinnamon like me)
1 tsp Maca Powder

 

Method

  1. Combine the oats and milk and cook in the microwave until warm and porridge like, I usually give it 30 seconds to a minute and a stir then another 30 secs to a minute and so on until it’s looking perfect (usually about 3 mins).
  2. Slice the banana and add that and the raisins to your porridge.
  3. Add the cinnamon and maca powder.
  4. Give everything a final mix together and enjoy!
